Michelin enters indian tyre market

Michelin Group has signed a MoU with the Tamil Nadu government to set up its tyre manufacturing unit near Chennai. The MoU was signed by state industries secretary MF Farooqui and Prashant Prabhu, president, Michelin Africa-India-Middle East.

An investment of Rs 4,000crore, the project will come up on 290 acres at the Thervoy Kandigai, 50km north of Chennai in Thiruvallur district and will bring with it an employment opportunity for 1,500 local workers.

The plant will produce heavy commercial vehicles tyres, off-road heavy tyres fitted in construction equipment made by JCB, Caterpillar and others.

“The manufacturing facility will focus on a range of radial\bus tyres. The plant will start operations in 2012 and will focus on the growing Indian market,” the company said in a statement.

In their quest to provide their customers with the best quality, an 18-month development project was undertaken by both Bentley and Naim with an aim to make a product that would give their customers the ultimate in-car audio experience.

Eight modes
And the result is the 'Naim for Bentley' range of car audio equipment that promises to deliver the equal of the world's finest home hi-fi within a car. Each system features a 1100-watt hand-assembled amplifier (Bentley claims it to be the world's most powerful production unit fitted in a car) and, depending on the model, up to 15 speakers with drive units specifically designed for Bentley by Naim. It also incorporates a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) offering its users eight modes to enhance their listening experience - including an 'audiophile' mode also. Now that's something which will keep you busy.

Toyota Innova modification

Simple modification made on Toyota Innova

There is not much modifications made on the above vehicle. But even if there is not much modifications done on it, it really looks good. In this vehicle the accesories added are - Alloy wheels, foriegn tyres,shade at the doors and a show muflur. These simple things are only added externally on this vehicle. But even if these are small things it makes the vehicle a goog like.

This vehicle is owned by my friend. Its a vehicle in kottayam. Its tyres are imported and it is having the PLATI alloy wheels. Also when u look that vehicle this alloy really matches for it. Sometimes we know that in some vehicle some alloy wheels are applied it may not give the vehicle a good look. But i think in the above vehicle, it suits for it. Also some will be putting alloy wheels of very great prices and it maynot be really matching for it. It is actually the views of the owner itself.

The above vehicle is not gone for any greater modifications. Also this vehicle had got a sub woofer and an amplifier. I am not going through it interiors.

Placing nets instead of original grills

Placing nets on front grills will surely make the car a sporty look. Usually when the car is getting modified everyone will change the front grill also. Then they would place those nets inorder to get the sports luks.... Now on the roads we can see somany cars having this type of grills infront of the cars. Not only it brings out sporty luk but also brings more air to rush inside in the engine.Actually everyone knows that it is also a great advantage for the vehicles. Airflow in cars

We know that for a car to run in a proper manner there are so many factors that are to be taken into account. Not only the external parts but also the internal parts of the cars also. Internal parts means the elements that is being added on to the engine system. It may consists of the air flow regulator, fuel regulator, valves,etc..... Here we can have a look at the air flow regulator.

Air, Spark and Fuel together reacts to burst and generate energy. Its important that air flow is regulated and controlled with precision and the Throttle Body manages it efficiently. The throttle body sits between the air filter and the intake manifold regulating air in response to the accelerator. The throttle plate inside the throttle body is called the butterfly valve that controls the airflow.

We can mod the throttle body too to improve performance and this can be done by doing a throttle body enlargement. This is a process in which the diameter of the TB(Throttle Body) is increased by shaving it by 40mm or 50mm based on the type of car. Doing this mod will increase the airflow into the engine and the air mass sensor will detect the extra air intake and communicates with the ECU to inject more fuel hence extra power is generated. Injection of fuel than stock configuration translates to bad fuel efficiency, a sacrifice for that extra torque.

There are bolt on kits for hassle free upgrade and not having to break your head on making a right mod on the stock throttle body. Its best if the car is installed with a Free Flow Exhaust and better to have the engine Ported and Polished as well to squeeze the juice out of a TB enlargement mod.

Alloys - We know that alloy wheels for cars not only improve the looks of the car but also improves the performance of the vehicle also. That is by increasing the stability, speed, efficiency etc.....A number of alloy wheel patterns are available in the market. Also there are alloy wheels from different companies also. Since 2008 there is a trend of putting alloys in the vehicle rather than doing any other extra accessories. But even when if there is alloys so many were not satisfied with their vehicles.
