Running with bore x stroke dimensions of 90 x 66mm and featuring a compression ratio of 11.3:1, this visually intimidating new power plant develops 200 PS at 9,000 rpm, together with a huge torque output of 166.8 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
The completely new VMAX engine benefits from the application of some of the most advanced Yamaha engine management technology ever seen in the category.

The Bajaj Avenger 200 cc DTS-engine provides 17.5 PS at 8000 rpm with a torque of 16.78 Nm at 6000 rpm. The present Avenger model with the 180 cc engine too uses the DTS-i

technology patented by Bajaj Auto.

However, the engine of the new Bajaj Avenger 200 cc DTS-i can dash up a high speed of 115 kilometer per hour. This new motorbike from Bajaj Auto has an oil cooled engine that assists in preserving oil viscosity at high engine RPMs. This way, the new 200cc Avenger DTS-i easily beats the performance of the original 180cc bike. With its competitor motorbike Yamaha no longer being manufactured, the road’s all clear for the Bajaj Avenger 200 cc DTS-i.The launch of the Bajaj Avenger 200 cc DTS-I was accompanied by an announcement that its manufacturing company, Bajaj Auto will gradually step away from the low-margin 100 cc bikes and foray into the more lucrative and larger motorbikes segment.
