Bentley has unveiled its grand tourer Mulsanne in India with a price tag of Rs 2.9 crore, with deliveries to commence from October 2010. The Grand Tourer Mulsanne model will be available in more then 625 colour options.The car will be launched with many new generation features including bluetooth, iPod, MP3 connectivity and a SIM card reader.

Global production of the car will begin later in the year. Each car takes 660 hours to be built compared with 5-6 hours for a normal car.Besides this the company is also planning to launch GTC Supersport in India.

Powered by a 6.8-litre twin turbo V8 engine, the Mulsanne has a maximum power output of 512bhp while producing 104kgm of max torque. The custom-made super luxury car takes about 600 man-hours to assemble.
