New Mustang

Welcome to the New MustangBlog.com!

For some of you it might come as a shock to see a new site wide redesign along with new links and more Mustang information but to me it's a step in a new direction. All three of my blogs which include ChallengerBlog.com, CamaroBlog.com and MustangBlog.com have been aquired byHigh Gear Media who relauched them with a new design and new features. Other than the change in ownership and site redesigns nothing major will be changing. You can expect more of the same pulitzer prize winning posts you have been acustomed to over the years as I will continue to write for all three blogs. I hope everybody enjoys the new site as much as I do.

New Custom Mustang Iacocca Silver Edition

The price of a typical Ford Mustang GT is about $30,000. Now a custom carmaker transforms 45 of those regular Mustangs into hand-built Iacocca Edition Mustangs which costs $90,000 each.

Galpin Motors, the LA dealership selling these cars, is well known for custom cars. This new Mustang aims to commemorate the role Lee Iacocca, a legendary auto executive played in creating the original Mustang in 1964.

For three times the cost of a regular V8 Mustang, Ford Mustang Iacocca Edition is equipped with a 4.6-liter 300-horsepower engine, just like a stock 2009 Mustang GT, but with Ford's Racing Handling suspension package. Performance options include a Ford Racing brake upgrade, a Cold Air Kit that boosts horsepower to 320 and a supercharger that boosts horsepower to 400.
